As a passionate since her young age with an irrepressible inventive energy, Liliane Tamby indulges in art and design and effortlessly spreads her passion to those around her. But shall we start from the beginning. Liliane Tamby was born and raised in France, originally from India, she had studied in philosophy and proceeded to pursue in the bank sector, far away from decoration.
Her first challenge happened while she was married, by the renovation and decoration of their 3 floors private residence. Her astute taste by placing furniture’s, matching throw, pillows, lamps with drapery into neat arrangements, as well her vast passion for antics, contrives to offer a beautiful, luxurious home with a serene atmosphere. Although it’s only few years later that she decided as a self thought women, to creates “Varang Luxury Lifestyle”, so to offer the opportunity to her futures customers to design a timeless, yet elegant home that they love, which is tremendously fulfilling.

She began her venture for private clienteles, by setting up their dinners with the appropriate “protocol and etiquette code”. However, with her devotion to details and exactness, as well the assimilations of traditions and trends, she soon moved into a full time job as an interior designer. Her inspiration for the French Classicism and French Baroque as well the “Art de Vivre à la Française” and her predominantly used signature for the craft and craftsmen’s by designing work of art for distinguished clients, has reinforced her choice and became her personal mark.

The attraction for this opulent decoration “Versailles” came in her childhood when she first visited Versailles and “La Galerie des Glaces”, then by travelling around the world, hotels, and museums. Nevertheless, Liliane must concede that cities like Paris, London and Italy have contributed to emphasise that luxurious style. There is romanticism evoked by a Versailles-like richness, that creates culturally, timeless, textured, elegant and sophisticated interiors.
“With a vivid memory, I must confess that I’m blessed and that my teenage dreams encouraged by hope, opportunities, creativity and luck, helped me to become the interior designer I wanted to be. Because decorating and decoration for me is above all inventing a quality of life, beauty in that living that nourishes the soul, that makes every singles moments sparkle. At the end, that’s what all this is about, not just what’s in and what’s out. Thenceforth, resulting many years’ experiences, passing through soul-searching and maturity, along with a greatest recent project, that exemplified my evolution and growth, I must concede that I’m at the juncture where I have confidence in my work, which isn’t precisely would have said a few short years before”. Those who don’t live and breathe it often label decoration and decorating as a simple formula: placing furniture’s, calculating distances. As far as I’m concern, my decoration style today honours French Classicism designs, set with high standards and bespoke extravagance. Fascinated by composition and colours, materials and craft, I love to work on luxury fabrics like damask, taffetas, cashmere, with glamorous vibrant colours such as gold, dark blue, burgundy and of course all the beige. Beyond that, my work aims to epitomize uncompromised magnificence in every project, creating homes of artful opulence that reflects my client’s lifestyle, as well their perception with exquisite finishing touches.
A fascination from my clients, based on the French Culture as well the magic of Paris, they love anything to do with haute couture, embroidery simple, elegant, croissant, on paintings, on tales, on anything French. So, naturally they are captivated about Napoleon’s Josephine, Collette, Nancy Mitford, Coco Chanel, Edith Wharton and many other beautiful, daring, vibrant women’s who lived and loved in Paris. Art is everywhere in France — particularly in Paris and other major cities — and Gothic, Romanesque Rococo and Neoclassic influences can be seen in many churches and other public buildings.
